Colmworth Scout Group

Colmworth Scout Troop has been running now for over 25 years (we celebrated our 25th anniversary in 2005).  It has a current membership of around 20 boys, aged 10 to 14, plus 2 or 3 young leaders (Explorer Scouts) drawn from villages as far apart as Thurleigh to Staploe, and Kimbolton to Bedford.  The group is within the Ouse Valley District, which is part of Bedfordshire Scout County, and we take part in many joint activities with other Troops within Ouse Valley and the County.

The troop runs a very active programme throughout the year, including various camps, hikes, night hikes, climbing, abseiling, and hill walking in the Peak District/ North Wales. Regular water activities like canoeing and sailing, plus visits to local industry, police, fire stations etc.

Adult helpers and new scouts (male or female) always welcome.
